On my Own
Rain falls from the sky
You are no where to be found
Slowly I begin to cry
I’ve fallen to the ground
Suffering on my hands and knees
I pull myself together and pray
If there’s a God I begged please
I begged her not to go away
Essence of pain takes my soul
My heart was taken from me
Without you I am not whole
What is my destiny
I lived my life for you
Prepared for the best
Survived the worst
Overcame all the rest
My life is no longer a curse
You give me reason to live
Always on my mind
My heart and soul all I can give
I tell you I love you every time
Without thought or hesitation
A second nature to love you purely
I look into your eyes with a deep sensation
You know you love me so surely
Close your eyes and picture me
You’ll see us happy together
Love me for more then a century
And tell me we’ll be forever….
